We did not plan it as a project at the beginning. We just wanted to avoid buying a bad beer that we have already tried for the second time. However, memorizing and recalling names of breweries or beers in a crowdie store or pub is not easy, so we came up with a website, which could be accessed virtually anywhere.
There are dozens parameters for objective evaluation and scoring of beer. Just type beer tasting in Google and you will get millions of hits detailing all possible features for beer testing and scoring without prejudice. But inevitably your evaluation comes to a simple dichotomy: you either like it or not. Therefore, we evaluate beer absolutely subjectively and simply: good or bad. Certainly, some sub tones exist: a beer might be so good that it scored as excellent or as bad to receive the below rating score. Therefore, if you try three beers that we rated as good and like them, there is a great probability that you will like the forth good. If you do not like the first three good – do not buy the forth one. We are subjective (rule #1), but we are consistently subjective (rule #2). Welcome to subjectivebeer.com!
